  • 06 March 2005: 11-3! Wow! What a speech by Chief Lansdowne! With his rousing 10-minute talk and about 100 members of freepb.org in the audience making their presence felt (loudly), the Mission Bay Park Committee agreed with the will of the people and voted not to recom mend a 4th of July alcohol ban on Mission Bay. A great day for us all.

  • 3 Sep 2004: freepb.org becomes a California non-profit corporation

  • 31 May 2004: Freepb.org Memorial Day party a huge success - hundreds more citizens have joined forces with us to preserve the freedom to responsibly enjoy our parks and beaches

  • 29 Apr 2004: Freepb.org featured in the Beach & Bay Press - read the article

  • 20 Apr 2004: Freepb.org lines up booth at the PB Block Party (May 8th) - look for us near the 101 KGB/Time Warner stage.

  • 17 Mar 2004: Freepb.org's Rob Rynearson motions for the PBTC to take a position on decriminalizing kegs on the 4th of July - the motion is seconded and passed 17-0. Likely full-PBTC vote in May.

  • 27 Feb 2004: Michael Zucchet comes out against the proposed ban! Excellent news and a big step toward preventing this ill-advised idea from moving further up the chain.

  • 25 Feb 2004: The OBTC overwhelmingly defeats the proposed ban - hats off to our friends "across the river"!

  • 25 Feb 2004: freepb.org gets a slick mailing list database to keep everyone in the loop - sign up now!

  • 18 Feb 2004: The PBTC has passed (28-24) a resolution recommending criminalization of drinking on the beach on the 4th of July (of all days). Everyone who cares about this erosion in our freedom should attend all local town council and planning committee meetings.
