I have been skating up and down the length of the Boardwalk three times a week or more for 28 years, which gives me an unually good perspective. While I agree that banning alcohol on the Boardwalk itself has been a good thing, I have only observed one or two incidents of alcohol problems on the beach itself, and they were inconsequental. The "riot" was unfortunate, but way too rare an event to resort to punishing everyone. Jim Fleming
